If you don’t live in Apex, you might not be aware of all the incredible coffee shops the town has to offer. They are all a little bit different and depending on what you like, you might prefer one over the other. Central Apex NC Coffee Shops
Notes Coffee House
Notes is a unique coffee house with some really interesting menu items. They serve the traditional coffee options but also have lotus drinks like Pink Lotus with watermelon, raspberry or cherry. And they serve locally brewed kombucha. Notes is located just of 55 and Perry Road, about a mile from downtown Apex. They are inside Rock and Roll High School and much of the decor and some menu items are music themed. đ
Sipcha Boba
If youâre looking for a coffee alternative with a coffee shop vibe, youâre going to love Sipcha! They have hot tea, sparkling tea, boba tea, fruit tea and milk cap drinks. Menu items are made with fresh fruit, they offer lactose free milk and many milk substitutes including oat, soy, almond and coconut milk. And if youâre looking for a little something sweet, they also serve rolled ice cream! Located in Beaver Creek Shopping Center.
Bonafide Bakeshop and Cafe
According to their website, Bonafide Bakeshop and Cafe offers âcraveable northern classics and good oleâ southern comforts.â Everything is made from scratch and they focus on high quality ingredients and local, seasonal offerings. Guests love the variety of vegan and gluten free options, as well as the amazing breakfast sandwiches. Apparently their chocolate chip cookies are the best around!

Sweet Talk Cafe
Until I found Sweet Talk Cafe, I had no idea what a croffle was. Maybe Iâm behind the times. If you donât know either, let me let you in on the secret⌠itâs like a waffle and a croissant had a baby. And apparently, you havenât lived until youâve had a croffle from Sweet Talk Cafe. The atmosphere is adorableâŚkind of like spa meets coffee shop. They serve all kinds of speciality coffees and other beverages as well as Asian inspired desserts. You know, the kind you see on TikTok and wonder how anyone makes anything so perfect?
Wake Oasis Coffee
If you need coffee quick and donât want to get out of your car, Wake Zone Oasis Coffee is your place!! They have DRIVE THROUGH! Bring your dog for a pup cream. They also have a selection of bagels and muffins.
Downtown Apex NC Coffee Shops
Common Grounds
Common Grounds Coffee is one of the most popular coffee spots in Apex. Some people refer to it as the living room of Apex. Itâs located in the historic downtown inside the Tobacco and Mule Exchange. Itâs really a great spot with lots of tables. There is seating both outside and in the historic Mule Exchange building, which is really quaint.
Mission Market
Mission Market is another cute little coffee shop in downtown Apex. In addition to coffees they serve a variety of health minded breakfast and lunch options like acai bowls, smoothies and paninis.
