Condos and Town Homes have not been very popular for most of Cary’s young life. But as prices have increased and land has become more of a commodity, there has been a surge of condo and townhome building in Cary. Also, NC becoming a destination for retirees has strengthened the push for attached, low-maintenance housing. Twenty years ago, attached homes only represented 15% of our total housing inventory. Now they represent over 30% of closed sales just this year.
